About the Author
James S. Robbins is a senior fellow for National Security Affairs at the American Foreign Policy Council and a member of the advisory board to the National Civil War Museum. Formerly, he was an award-winning editorial writer at the Washington Times, professor at the National Defense University, and special assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He holds a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. The book was a shock. It was stating how the radical Left controls education, the media & a major political party. The Americans need our past History to understand the principles America was founded on and pass it on to a future generation. If we allow the Left to destroy it, there will no more America that we know as today. This book stated what was happening now. America has too start standing together and fight the radicals. If the Left have their way, America will loose our freedom, constitution, right to bear arms etc. I would recommend this book to any one that wanted to know what was going on in the USA recently.

Robbins' book "Erasing America" recently and can state without reservation that this is a work that everyone in America needs to read if you value our history, our culture and our future.Robbins methodically and with his signature attention to detail highlights the efforts being made by the left/progressives/socialists in America to reshape what America means, to rewrite the history books, to redefine everything across the broad spectrum of American society and history to reflect what they believe this country should be - specifically an unexceptional country founded by "...deeply flawed men who have been falsely elevated as heroes." Rather, Robbins make the argument that "Americans are the custodians of a magnificent legacy of ordered liberty, but to pass it on to our children, we must view the past with understanding, the present with gratitude, and the future with hope, preserving what Lincoln called "the mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land."England's Oliver Cromwell is famously said to have instructed his portraitist to include everything in his likeness, "Warts and all." Indeed, that was the only way to record the full measure of his being.Robbins’ points out a similar approach needs to be with America, that an appreciation and understanding of where we are and where we will go is wholly dependent on and intrinsically tied to where we came from and what we went through.
